February 2025 Merchants Association Meeting

The next Merchants Association meeting will be Tuesday, February 11 at 5:30 pm at the Hillsborough Town Annex (105 E. Corbin Street). Heather Tatreau, executive director of the Hillsborough Arts Council, will talk about their mission and programming. They are planning the 2025 Last Fridays & Art Walk and want to get feedback from local businesses to consider in their plans for the year.

Among other things, we will also discuss the Ladies Night Out event that the Merchants Association is organizing. The consensus from the survey for the best month to hold the event was split between April and May, so we are planning to hold Ladies Night Out the evening of Tuesday, April 29. We will discuss if that is the best date.

Amanda Boyd with the Visitors Center will also be in attendance to discuss seminars we will be providing for merchants on how to receive free marketing help, get items listed on their events calendar, etc. Mayor Bell will also be in attendance.
